but, not to be sad, a window closes, another opens up. in january, there will a wedding, and auntie thavam, whose daughter malini is getting married, has very kindly invited us, all of us, to perform anything we would like to perform for the wedding dinner. can you imagine that? hey, for the first time, the pancatantra has been asked to perform.
so, the new dish we are cooking up, with the short amount of time given to us, in fact, consists of a starter, a main meal, and dessert. three short plays: the story of savitri, the wedding of hari and manju (a spoof on romeo and juliet), and a scene from the taming of the shrew. i have written the scripts and hope to get you guys together to look at them. in the savitri story, we will need two actors - one male and one female. in the wedding of hari and manju, we need four actors - two female and two male. in the shrew, also four actors - two female, two male.

to do this, i am banking on your past experience in drama, to quickly suss out the characters and start improvising when we meet up in the next few weeks.
it will be very exciting. the dinner theatre will have an audience of at least two hundred guests. so, here's another chance for you to be somebody else!!!
